Joseph L. Demarco III was an outstanding
student at Audubon High School and a member of the golf team. Joe was
tragically killed in an automobile accident in 1978.
Our Mission
The Joseph L. Demarco, III Memorial Golf Scholarship was established
to honor the memory of Joseph L. DeMarco III.
The golf tournament funds a scholarship which is presented to an
Audubon High School senior at graduation. the recipient must
demonstrate character, leadership and dedication to the golf team or
other school activities. The recipient must also demonstrate
academic achievement.
The $15,000 scholarship is paid to the college, on behalf of the
recipient.
This Year's Recipient
Vasilios Kappatos
Joe and Dianne DeMarco present Vasilios with a $15,000 scholarship. Vasilios Joins an ever growing list of prior exemplary student alums not only of Audubon High School but also of the elite fraternity of Scholarship Recipients.
The Tournament
The 33rd Annual Joseph L. Demarco III Memorial Golf Scholarship Tournament will be held this year on September 14, 2011 at Medford Village Country Club. Registration begins at 10:00 AM with shotgun start scheduled for noon.
In addition to an incredible day of golfing on an exclusive golf course contributing to Joseph's memory, every player receive:
